First hand knowledge of schools and programs is essential to the successful placement of a special needs student. No web site, no matter how informative, can substitute for in-depth visits by a consultant who knows what to look for and the right questions to ask.

There are many types of special needs programs which offer support for varying learning differences and psychological diagnoses. In order to be able to make appropriate recommendations, it is my responsibility to be knowledgable of the various services and personalities of each program.

I regularly visit special needs schools and programs across the country and meet their representatives at IECA, LDA, LDAG, and NATSAP conferences as well as in my office.
